Eastlake High, Other SISD Schools Offering Summer Camps

The Socorro Independent School District will be offering various summer camp opportunities for students of all ages.

Eastlake High School Summer Soccer Camp
The Eastlake High School Soccer Camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon June 5-8 in the school soccer field. Registration will be now through May 29. The camp cost is $40 per participant. Late registration will be from 8-8:45 a.m. June 5.

Late registration fee will be $60. Cash and money orders should be payable to Eastlake High School (no checks). Lunch will be provided from 11:30 a.m. to noon. For more information, contact Coach Widner by phone at 937-3600 or by email at gwidne@sisd.net.
Eastlake Summer Camp

Montwood High School Emerald Dancers Children’s Camp
The Montwood High School Emerald dancers will host a children’s dance camp from 8 a.m. to noon June 12– 16 for students ages 5-16. The camp fee will be $50 for entire week or $15 for a single day. Early registration is now through May 23.

Emerald Dancers Dance Camp

SISD Police Services “Super School” summer camp
Team SISD students ages 5-11 are invited to the SISD Police Services “Super School” summer program from 8 to 11 a.m. June 5 – 16. For more information, call SISD Police Services at 937-4357.
SISD Police Services Camp

Americas High School Basketball Camp
The Americas High School Basketball Camp will be from 9-11 a.m. June 6-8. The cost of camp is $40. The camp is for students between the ages of 6-14. Registration information will start at 8:15 a.m. on June 6. For more information, call the school at 937-2800.

Cyber Security Camps
SISD Cyber Security Camps will be from 8 a.m. to noon June 5 -16 at each middle and K-8 school. The camps will provide students with an understanding of the different career areas in computer science with a focus on cyber security.

Students will explore the importance of practicing safe access to the internet, digital citizenship and learn how hackers gain access to other technologies to mine data for illegal purposes. For more information about the cyber security camps call your child’s middle and K-8 school.
