School is back in session and “High Five Fridays’” are back. El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the East Montana Patrol Station conducted their monthly initiative called “High Five Friday” at Dr. Sue Shook Elementary on Friday, August 18.
During the “High Five Friday” deputies help maintain order and unload children as they arrive at the school campus in a safe manner, at the same time deputies hand out Sheriff’s Office souvenirs like pens and pencils to children.
Deputies also handed out kits from the National Child Identification Program to parents so that in the case of an emergency, parents have a copy of their child’s fingerprints.
The East Montana Patrol Station will continue their monthly initiative at various schools throughout El Paso County.
