Horizon City Police Department Blotter: Week of June 11 through 18th

Halfway through June, almost to the official start of Summer, and the men and women of the HCPD continue to keep us all safe and sound.

June 18th: No Arrests

June 17th: No Arrests

A subject disturbance was reported in the 100 block of N Kenazo. Reporting party reported a person outside with dog making noise. Officers arrived and spoke to the reporting party and subject, subject was advised and everything checked okay.

A domestic assault was reported out at 14000 Horizon. Reporting party advised of male half hitting female inside vehicle. Officers attempted to locate vehicle and subjects but were unable to locate.

A criminal mischief was reported in the 300 block of Horizon View reference to a broken house window. Horizon units met with the reporting party obtained information and a report was generated.

Horizon City Police received a call in the area of 14000 Desert Sage reference to a vehicle disturbance. Reporting party advised of a vehicle with a male driver running stop signs. Officers arrived to the area and weren’t able to locate the vehicle.

A domestic assault was reported in the area of 14000 Desert Point. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with both parties involved were advised and separated for the day.

June 16th: No Arrests

In the 200 block of Desert Breeze a concerned caller advised of a subject roaming around the area. The officers responded to the call and checked the area. The officers secured the area and found no subject. The officers met with the reporting party and gathered information on the subject.

A motor vehicle accident occurred at the Horizon Walmart involving two vehicles. The officers responded to the call and met with both parties. Both parties were checked okay with no injuries. Information was gather from both parties and a report will be generated.

In the area of Darrington and Pete La Rue a noise disturbance call was made. The officers responded to the call and checked the area. The officers met with the homeowner and advised about the noise level.

A motor vehicle accident occurred in the 14000 block of Escalera involving one vehicle. The reporting party advised the officers that the vehicle hit the power pole and left the scene. The officers gathered the information from the reporting party and a report is being generated at this time.

June 15th: No Arrests

Officers responded to a theft at 13900 Horizon at the Walmart Supercenter. Loss prevention officers advised that one subject had shoplifted merchandise worth less than one hundred dollars. Officers met with the loss prevention department and issued a citation to the subject.

In the 14000 block of Cabana, a subject disturbance was reported. The reporting party advised of having issues with neighbor blocking the driveway. Officers spoke with both parties and were advised accordingly.

Officers responded to a suspicious subject in the block of 14000 Horizon Vista. Officers checked the area but the subject in question was gone prior to arrival.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the area of Barrel Cactus. The caller advised that they were having issues with a family member. The officers met with both parties and were they were both advised accordingly.

June 14th: No Arrests

A call was made in reference to criminal activity that occurred at the Burger King. The reporting party advised that as they arrived to work, the drive-thru window was broken. Officers met with the reporting party and received information. A report was generated.

Officers responded to a report of a broken window that occurred in the block of 300 Crocker. Our units met with the reporting party and also noticed that other vehicles were damaged in that block as well. A report was generated.

A second call was made in reference to a broken car window in the block of 14000 Canario. Officers met with reporting party and a report was generated.

Horizon Police Department units were dispatched to the area of Darrington and Eastlake in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Officers and first responders arrived to a two-vehicle accident and one patient was transported to the nearest local hospital. Horizon units gathered all pertinent information and a report was generated.

A call was made in the area of Narciso and Maravillas in reference to hearing shots in the area. Officers checked the desert area and were unable to find the origin of the noise. The surrounding area was determined to be safe.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 13900 Horizon at the Walmart Supercenter. The reporting party advised subject was being verbally aggressive. Officers met with the reporting party and an escort was provided for one party.

A subject disturbance was reported out at 14290 Horizon at Burger King. The caller advised that two subjects were outside and did not want to leave the area. Officers arrived at the scene and spoke to the reporting party and a report was generated.

June 13th: No Arrests

A motor vehicle accident was reported in the area of 14000 Rudi Kuefner. Two vehicles were involved and were reported to be blocking traffic. First responders checked for injuries and determined no patients were injured. Officers requested a wrecker to the scene and generated a report.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 14000 block of Desierto Bello. The reporting party advised of a verbal argument between family members. Units spoke with all parties involved and advised them accordingly and all subjects remained at the scene.

A caller reported their vehicle was egged in the area of 1000 Catham. Officers met with the reporting party and gathered information. Extra patrol was requested and will be provided in this area

June 12th: One Arrest

A call reference to a domestic assault occurred in the area of 14000 block of Dust Devil. The reporting party advised the officers that the subject was intoxicated. Officers and first responders met with the subjects and no patients were transported. Both parties were separated and advised.

A verbal domestic call was made in the 14000 block of Desert Yucca. The reporting party advised that subject was being verbally aggressive and was throwing items towards the reporting party. The officers made contact with both the subject and the reporting party. Both parties were separated and advised.

A motor vehicle accident occurred in the area of Desert Mist and Eastlake. A concerned caller advised that the vehicle had gone off the road and drove into the construction site area. Upon arrival, the officers determined the vehicle was unoccupied. A wrecker was called to remove the vehicle from the scene. The officers gathered information on the vehicle to generate a report.

A concerned caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the area of Rodman and Glenosa. The officers were able to find the vehicle and met with the subject. The subject was advised to the leave the area.

Officers arrested one subject following a warrant execution the area of 1200 Doy. The subject was booked into the county jail.

June 11th: No Arrests

A motor vehicle accident occurred in the 13000 block of Eastlake involving two vehicles with injuries. The officers met with both parties and first responders checked for injuries. The officers took down information on the accident and the patients were taken to the nearest hospital.

A subject disturbance call was made in the block of 14000 Desert Orchid. The reporting party advised the officers about an argument that was occurring. The officers separated both parties and advised them accordingly.

A call was made in the area of 14000 Desert Bush in reference to a domestic assault. The reporting party advised that both subjects were being aggressive and one of the parties was intoxicated. No injuries were reported and both parties were separated and advised.
