0821 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a complaint of criminal mischief which occurred at the 13900th block of Horizon Blvd. Officers initiated investigation and generated a police report.

0932 14700th block of Horizon View, Officers responded to a fire alarm/ gas leak hazard. False alarm.

1001 Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Darrington Rd. & Valentin St. Officers cecked the area and found that the vehicle was gone upon their arrival.

1158 Officers responded to a complaint of illegal dumping in the area of the 300th block of Cross River. Officers were unable to locate illegal dumpers and referred the incident to Horizon City Code Enforcement.

1229 Officers responded to a complaint of criminal mischief at the 800th block of Desert Moon. Officers initiated investigation and generated a police report.

1303 13000th block of Ryderwood, Officers responded to information on two missing juveniles. The juveniles were released to their parents.

1408 14000th block of Golden Barrel, Officers responded to a complaint of criminal mischief. The complainant only wished to alert the officers of the activity.

1410 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a complaint of fraud. Officers provided information to the complainant.

1430 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers took fingerprints from a person at their request for identity verification/ background purposes.

1449 14700th block of Cactus View, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, Officers determined probable cause to effect an arrest for Assault (Family Violence). The arrestee was transported to HCPD for processing and was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.

1524 400th block of Katherine, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious item. Officers investigated and determined that the item was not a safety hazard.

1529 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a complaint of fraud. Officers provided information to the complainant.

1537 14500th block of Orchid, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog. Officers were able to contain the animal and brought it to the HCPD kennel awaiting pickup by county animal control services.

1632 14000th block of Warren Belin, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle. Officers located and checked on the vehicle and occupants. No illegal activity was observed.

1745 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a civil dispute of fraud. Officers provided information to the complainant.

1927 14400th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a child custody dispute. As they were responding, Officers were cancelled by the person seeking assistance.

1936 14000th block of Lago Azul, Officers responded to a complaint civil contention. Officers provided information to the complainant.

2033 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers found the home to be secured, false alarm.

2054 14300th block of Desert Crest, Officers assisted with a medical emergency.

2118 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of Aggravated Assault. Officers investigated the incident. The complainant declined to file a police report.

2129 14300th block fo Desert Sunset, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers found the home to be secured. False alarm.

2230 700th block of Von Bargen, Officers assisted with a medical emergency.

0200 13600th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

0500 700th block of Desert Silver, Officers responded to a 911 hangup. Officers met with the occupants of the home and determined that there was no emergency.

October 26: One Arrest

0714 Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of Roslyn Ln. & Higley Cir., Officers investigated the collision and generated a CR-3 crash report.

0819 Officers attempted to serve various municipal court summonses.

1019 Officers conducted a follow up for child well being on behalf of Texas Family Services.

1101 In the area of Peter Noyes and Kenazo Ave., Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash. Officers investigated the collision and generated a CR-3 crash report.

1130 11500th block of Valle Rojo, Officers delivered a court order.

1545 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers conducted fingerprinting for a person in need of identification fingerprints.

1648 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers conducted fingerprinting for a person in need of identification fingerprints.

1634 In the area of Rodman and Desert Marigold, Officers responded to a complaint of loose dog. Officers attempted to, but were unable to contain the animal.

1712 14600th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of criminal mischief. Officers conducted investigation and initiated a police report.

1758 14200th block of Desert Bush, Officers responded to a mental health crisis. Upon further investigation, Officers learned that the person seeking help was not in town, but on the phone with a family member. Officers connected the person going through the crisis with a crisis hotline.

1833 600th block of Orchid, Officers responded to a complaint of harassment. Upon further investigation, Officers determined elements of offense were not met and made recommendations to remedy the dispute.

1905 13800th block of Hollywood, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, Officers determined the extent of the dispute was verbal.

1956 14400th block of Alcon, Officers responded to a complaint of a civil dispute. Parties involved were given information.

2003 400th block of Cutler, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon further investigation, Officers determined probable cause to charge a person involved with Terroristic Threat. The person was arrested and booked into El Paso County Detention Facility.

2301 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a minor motor vehicle crash. Officers issued blue forms, (CR-2 report)

2347 13800th block of Hollywood, Officers responded to a mental health crisis. Officers conducted an emergency detention for medical/ mental health evaluation.

0127 400th block of Katherine, Officers responded to a suspicious person complaint. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anything extraordinary.

0138 14000th block of Blooming Desert, Officers responded to a structure fire at a home. Officers assisted Horizon City FD crews as they managed the fire.

October 25: No Arrests

0910 14700th block of Desert Breeze, Officers responded to a mental health crisis. Officers were able to refer the consumer to the appropriate resource.

1011 13600th block of Eastlake Blvd., Officers responded to a hit and run motor vehicle crash. Officers conducted investigation and generated a crash report.

1128 400th block of Cactus Crossing, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the premises and found it to be secured. False alarm.

1152 14500th block of Escalera, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the premises and found it to be secured. False alarm.

1430 Officers responded to a complaint of subject with guns in the area of N. Kenazo Ave. & Fairwood Dr., Officers checked the area and located a group of children with airsoft guns, they were advised to wear protective gear and keep their play in the desert area to avoid creating safety hazards for passing motorists.

1453 Officers assisted a stranded motorist at the 1450th block of Kenazo Ave.

1525 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a complaint of theft. Officers generated a report.

1602 3600th block of Colville, Officers responded to a complaint of abandoned narcotics. An unknown person left a bag with multiple types of narcotics behind. If you dropped your backpack with narcotics we have them, we would love to speak with you. 

1738 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a complaint of theft. Officers generated a report.

1800 Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Desert Sunset. Officers checked the area and found the vehicle was already gone.

1830 Officers came upon a person wanted for charges of theft. The person was placed under arrest and transported to El Paso County Detention Facility.

2104 Officers resounded to a complaint of a traffic hazard in the area of Horizon Blvd. & Rifton St., the hazard was removed from the roadway by Officers. �
2209 14600th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle. Officers arrived and located a vehicle matching description. Officers conducted investigation and determined that the vehicle and occupants were not in violation of any law.

2314 Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Horizon Blvd. & Darrington Rd. Officers checked the area and found that the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

2331 400th block Desert Dandelion, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, Officers determined that the extent of the dispute was verbal.

October 24: No Arrests

0652 19000th block of Armington, Officers responded to a complaint of theft. Officers conducted investigation and initiated a police report.

1246 400th block of Cactus Crossing, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the premises and found the home to be secured. False alarm.

1410 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information about a civil dispute.

1518 13900th block Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a 911 hang up. Officers met with establishment employees and determined no need for emergency intervention.

1554 14400th block Calla Lilly, Officers responded to a complaint of a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, Officers determined that no disturbance had taken place.

1615 At the Horizon City Town Hall, Officers responded to a panic alarm. Officers determined that there was no emergency. False alarm.

1632 Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of Horizon Blvd. & N. Kenazo Ave. Officers issued blue forms (CR-2 crash report)

1655 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a complaint of civil dispute.

1708 14300th block of Desierto Bonito, Officers responded to a complaint of a lose dog. Officers attempted to, but were unable to contain the animal.

1732 In the area of Barrel Catus & Texas Rainbow, Officers attempted to serve a municipal summons.

1853 200th block of Sunview, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog. Officers were able to contain the dog and brought it to HCPD kennel awaiting pickup by county animal control services.

1910 600th block of Orchid, Officers responded to information about a missing juvenile. The juvenile had returned.

2020 Officers responded to a hit and run motor vehicle crash in the area of Horizon Blvd. & Darrington Rd. Officers checked the area and initiated investigation.

2040 300th block of Barrel Cactus, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon conclusion of investigation, Officers determined that the extent of the incident was verbal, one person was transported to the hospital for emotional evaluation.

2120 600th block of Danube, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon conclusion of investigation, Officers determined that the extent of the incident was verbal, Officers asked the people involved to separate for the night in order to cool off.

2221 200th block of Lago Seco, Officers responded to an animal complaint, possibly a wild animal running lose in the area. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate any loose animal.

2250 600th block of Darrington, Officers responded to a complaint of gunfire in the area. Officers determined that the possible gun shots emitted from outside the city limits and alerted the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

0037 400th block of Katherine, Officers responded to a request of a personal safety/ wellness check. Officers met with the person and found that they were not in need of any medical or law enforcement intervention.

October 23: No Arrests

0800 14400th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a commercial alarm. Officers checked the premises and found it to be secured. False alarm.

0839 Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person in the area of Elmo & Clancy. Officers checked the area and found that the person was already gone.

0901 Officers, already in the area from the previous call, located the suspicious person. Upon further investigation, Officers determined that the person was a utilities company employee on foot checking meters.

1120 14100th block of Escalera, Officers responded a call regarding information on a motor vehicle collision which had occurred in the past.

1133 13900th block Veny Webb, Officers responded to a complaint of a gas leak. Officers and HCFD checked the area and determined that there was no natural gas leaking in the area.

1213 100th block Cholla, Officers received information on a complaint regarding a dog from the area.

1243 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information regarding ailments affecting an elderly relative.

1546 14000th block Flowering Cactus, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the premises and found them to be secured. False alarm.

1600 15300th block of Marburn Ct., Officers responded to a request for general assistance to the public.

1615 14300th block of Desierto Bello, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, Officers determined that the extent of the dispute was verbal.

1645 14600th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash. Officers conducted investigation and generated a CR-3 crash report.

1719 Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person in the area of Holden & Roslyn. Officers checked the area and determined that the person was already gone upon their arrival.

1728 400th block of Lauren, Officers responded with information on a missing juvenile. The juvenile had returned.

1815 14300th block of Desert Crest, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog. Officers located and contained the animal, then transported it to the HCPD awaiting pickup by county animal control services.

1845 14300th block of Antwerp, Officers responded with information on a missing juvenile. The juvenile had returned.

2025 14400th block of Golden Eagle, Officers responded to a complaint of a person disturbing. Officers checked the area but found that the person had already left prior to their arrival.

2208 400th block of Katherine, Officers responded to a complaint of burglary of a home. Officers conducted investigation.

2342 13100th block of Thea Smith, Officers responded to a complaint of loud music. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any source of loud noise.

0023 300th block of Medill, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person, Officers checked the area and checked on a person and upon further investigation determined that the person was not in violation of any law or ordinance.

October 22: One Arrest

0611 Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at the 100th block of Cholla. Officers conducted investigation and determined that the extent of the disturbance did not merit charging either party with a crime. Parties involved were asked to separate from each other to allow time to cool off.

0800 400th block fo Katherine, Officers responded to a complaint of burglary of habitation. Officers conducted investigation and determined that no burglary had taken place although damage to the structure had been done. The complaint declined to file a police report.

1112 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a complaint of a parking violation. Officers met with the vehicle owner and issued a warning.

1143 Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Darrington Rd. & Desierto Bello. Officers checked the area and found that the vehicle was gone upon their arrival.

1503 14700th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a commercial alarm. Officers checked the premises and found them secured. False alarm.

1701 US Customs detained a person wanted by the Horizon City PD as they attempted to enter the US at the Downtown International Port of Entry. HCPD Officers responded and took custody of the wanted person and booked them into the El Paso County Detention Facility.

1708 800th block of Desert Cactus, Officers responded to an unattended death. The investigation continues.

1904 100th block of Barrel Cactus, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Officers conducted investigation and determined that the extent of the disturbance did not merit charging either party with a crime. Parties involved were asked to separate from each other to allow time to cool off.

1937 Officers responded to the area of Horizon Blvd. & N. Kenazo Ave. in regards to information on a motor vehicle crash. Officers referred the investigation to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

1943 600th block of Orchid Dr., Officers responded to a complaint of a missing juvenile.

1952 3600th block of Clancy, Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically in the area. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

2046 In the area of Roslyn & Highweed, Officers responded to a complaint of a fight in progress. Officers checked the area and determined that the people involved had left the area upon their arrival.

2114 600th block of Orchid Dr., Officers responded to a additional information about a runaway juvenile.

2223 14100th block of Peter Noyes, Officers responded to a noise disturbance complaint. Officers made contact with the homeowners and issued a warning.

0457 700th block of Desert Ash, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, Officers determined that the primary aggressor was in need of emergency detention for mental/ medial evaluation.
