September 17: No Report Yet
September 16: Two Arrrests
A subject disturbance was reported at 13900 Horizon at the Walmart store. The reporting party advised of several juveniles in the store causing a disturbance. Officers made contact with the juveniles and they were released to responsible parties.
Officers responded to a noise disturbance in the area of 14000 Desert Sage in reference to loud music in the area. The homeowner was advised to lower the music and the area checked okay.
A domestic issue occured in the 15000 block of Ashford. Officers met with all parties involved and determined the issue was verbal only. Parties were separated and advised.
One subject was arrested following a report of a possible intoxicated driver. Officers made contact with a vehicle and subject in the 13000 block of Eastlake. The subject was processed and booked into the downtown jail.
We recieved a call in reference to a subject down near 400 S Darrington. Officers met with one subject and transported them to the station for processing in reference to public intoxication. The subject was later booked into the jail annex.
A residential alarm was reported in the area of 13000 Desert Song. Units arrived quickly and determined it was in reference to a false alarm. The residence was secured and the area checked okay.
Units were dispatched to a commercial alarm at 13600 Ryderwood at Ensor Middle School. Officers checked the area and advised the building was secured. The call was in reference to a false commercial alarm.
Officers responded to a possible home burglary in the 1000 block of Catham. Upon arrival, officers checked the residence and determined no burglary had taken place. The homeowner was advised and the neighborhood was determined to be safe.
A single-vehicle accident was reported at 16000 Ashford at the Moonlight Bar and Grill restaurant. One vehicle hit a rock wall and was unable to move. Officers assisted in removing the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
Units were dispatched to a noise disturbance in the 14000 block of Escalera. Officers advised the homeowner to lower the music and the area checked okay.
Officers responded to the sound of gunshots in the area of Desert Orchid and Desert Spring. Upon arrival, officers determined the call would be in reference to fireworks. The homeowner was advised accordingly.
September 15: No Arrests
A criminal mischief was reported in the area of Horizon Heights and Ryderwood. Officers were able to locate subject and obtain information. Additional patrol was requested in the area.
Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 14500 block of Cabana. Units arrived on scene and requested Life Ambulance and Horizon fire due to an airbag deployment. Officers generated a report and all responders cleared shortly after.
A domestic call was reported in the neighborhood of Thea Smith and Horizon. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with both parties. It was determined by the responding officers that it was a verbal issue only and both parties were advised.
Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the area of Desert Ash and Desert Sage. Units made contact with reporting party and he was advised.
A Theft call was reported in the area of Horizon and Acra. Officers made contact with reporting party and gathered all information necessary to create a report.
Officers assisted the Horizon Fire Department on a gas leak. Texas Gas arrived on the scene and plugged the gas line and both the Fire Department and PD cleared shortly after.
A noise disturbance was reported in the neighborhood of Desert Orchid and Desert Spring. Officers were able to locate the residence were the noise was coming from and make contact with the homeowner. Homeowner was advised to lower the music.
September 14: No Arrests
Officers were requested by reporting party to the 18000 block of Carson in reference to theft of a cell phone. Officers spoke with reporting party who had an address coming back to the stolen cell phone, negative contact was made and officers cleared.
An officer was flagged down at the Ensor Middle School in reference to a couple arguing. Reporting party advised vehicle had left, no other information was provided by reporting party and officers cleared the scene.
A motor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported at the Church’s Chicken on Eastlake, officers arrived on scene to obtain information no report was generated and blue forms were issued.
Officers were dispatched to the 14800 block of Holden reference to three suspicious subjects. Officers checked the area, everything checked okay and subjects were gone upon the arrival of the officers.
A routine traffic stop was conducted by an officer out at 300 Roslyn. Officer requested another unit to assist with a vehicle search. Citations were issued to the subjects and a report was generated for non-arrest.
September 13: No Arrests
A hit and run was reported in the 500 block of Darrington. The officers were able to met with reporting party and were able to obtain as much information as possible that the party can provided. The officers checked the reporting party and confirmed there was no pain or injuries to be reported.
A residential alarm was set in the 1400 block of Ashford. The officers responded to the call and once arrived on the scene, officers checked the interior and exterior. The area checked to be okay and secured the officers closed out the call as a false alarm.
A traffic hazard call made in the 1500 block of Oppossum in reference to a stop sign being knocked down. The officers check the area and removed the stop and advised street services on the hazard.
A power outage occurred on in the the Narciso area. The officers attended the scene and advised the Fire Department and El Paso electric company. The electric company took over the scene and help turn back power.
A concern caller advised on a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Danube. The officers responded to the call, unfortunately the vehicle was no longer at the scene when officers arrived. The officers met with the reporting party and obtained much information as possible of the suspicious vehicle.
September 12: One Arrest
Officers were dispatched to the area of 500 Katherine to check on two subjects inside of a vehicle. Units met with both subjects and one was arrested for possession of an illegal substance. The subject was later processed and booked into the downtown jail.
A concerned caller reported loose K9’s in the area of Rodman and Highweed. Units arrived quickly but were unable to locate the K9’s.
Units were dispatched to the 1000 block of Catham in reference to a loose K9. The officers were able to contain the animal and the area checked okay.
We received an unknown 911 call from the area of 14400 Golden Eagle at Frank Macias School. Officers met with the reporting party and advised the call was in reference to a subject disturbance, however the second party was gone on arrival. Officers received information and advised the reporting party.
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of 14000 Thayer Pease. Officers checked a vehicle matching the description as given by the reporter and the vehicle checked okay.
Units responded to a report of suspicious subjects in the area of 400 Horizon Heights. Officers checked the neighborhood and advised the area checked okay. Officers then met with the reporting party and advised them accordingly.
September 11: Two Arrests
A commercial burglary alarm was reported at 123 N Kenazo at Linda’s Hair Salon. Officers responded quickly and checked the building and surrounding areas. Officers determined the call was in reference to a false alarm and the business checked okay.
We received a call in reference to a residential alarm in the area of 140000 Sonoma Breeze. Upon arrival, officers checked the residence and determined it was a false alarm. A notice was issued and the neighborhood checked okay.
Officers were dispatched to 13900 Horizon at the Walmart store in reference to one subject reported shoplifting. Units met with loss prevention personnel and one subject was cited.
Units responded to a report of a burglary of habitation in the area of Villa Romero and Antwerp. Officers met with the reporting party and gathered information to generate a report.
A separate call was received from 13900 Horizon at the Walmart store in reference to information on a theft. Officers met with the loss prevention department and gathered information. A report was generated in reference to theft.
One person was arrested following a traffic stop at 14999 Darrington. Officers met with a subject who was wanted out of our agency. The subject was then arrested and booked into the jail annex.
One subject was processed and released following a traffic stop near 14300 Horizon..Officers followed the subject to the station where they posted bail and were released.
September 10: Two Arrests
Officers responded to the 400 block of Benton St. reference a domestic verbal call. Parties involved refused to separate.
A noise disturbance was reported in the area of Lago Seco Dr. The caller advised of loud music coming from a residence. Officers made contact with homeowner and advised to lower music down.
Officers responded to a domestic verbal call in the 600 block of Danube Dr. After officers spoke to parties involved, parties agreed to separate.
Loud music was reported on Desert Cactus Dr. The homeowner was advised to lower the music. An additional call was received reference loud music in the 14000 block of Peter Noyes Dr. The reporting party advised the loud music was coming from a party. An arrest was made at the party reference consumption of alcohol by a minor.
A suspicious vehicle was reported on Horizon Heights Cir. When officers arrived on scene, contact was made with occupants of the reported vehicle. A vehicle search was conducted resulting in occupant being in possession of marijuana. The occupant was released to a responsible party. A report was generated in reference to possession of marijuana.
In the 16000 block Homestead Dr., officers responded to assist Horizon City Fire Department in a medical call. Patient was transported to the hospital.
Officers were flagged down in the area 13500 Eastlake Blvd. and were advised of a male inside a vehicle. Medical attention was requested for the male. He checked okay and refused medical transport.
In the 14000 block of Lago Seco Dr., officers responded to a domestic verbal call. Parties involved were separated.
A noise disturbance was reported on Homestead Dr. When officers arrived on scene, officers were unable to locate the source of the noise.
A suspicious vehicle was reported on Desierto Bonito St. The vehicle was no longer in the area when officers arrived.
Officers responded to a burglary of habitation call in the 700 block of Maravillas St. The residence checked okay, no burglary of habitation was found.
Loud music in the area of Desierto Bello Ave. was reported. Caller advised the loud music was coming from a party. The homeowner advised officers the party was ending.
