Horizon City Police Department’s Blotter: Week of September 4 through 10

September 10: No Report Yet

September 9: One Arrest

Officers were dispatched to a call out on the 14000 block of Warren Belin for a vehicle disturbance. Units arrived on scene to a party, officers dispersed the crown and remained on scene holding juveniles for responsible parties to arrive. Officers cleared after party was dispersed and responsible parties arrived to pick up juveniles.

An officer conducted a vehicle check at Warren Belin and Rodman. The driver checked okay and was advised to leave the area.

A Traffic stop was conducted at the corner of De Palma and De Stefano. Officers requested identification on all parties and advised had juveniles past curfew. Responsible parties were contacted and upon their arrival officers released vehicle and juveniles.

Officers were dispatched to a call on the 700 block of Cora Ruecker for noise a disturbance call. Officers met with home owners and advised to lower the music.

A subject disturbance call was made to Horizon City Police. Officers were sent to the 100 block of Sahuaro. Upon their arrival, officers checked the area, the residence and had negative contact with the subject. Officers secured the residence and cleared.

A commercial burglary was called in by the alarm company for Health Horizon Clinic. Horizon City officers were dispatched out to the location to check the business. The officers checked the area and building, everything checked okay false alarm.

Officers responded to a residential alarm on the 14000 block of Desierto Bello. Officers arrived to meet with homeowner and gathered information on damages and stolen items. A report was generated in reference to burglary of habitat.

Officers were dispatch to an alarm call on the 13000 block of Horizon. Officers checked the residence with everything checking okay false alarm.

Units were dispatched to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. Officers met with loss prevention officers at the Walmart who refused to prosecute, no report was generated and juveniles were released to responsible party.

A domestic issue was reported in the 14000 block of Calla Lily. Officers made contact with both parties and determined domestic was only verbal, parties were separated and advised.

Officers responded to a call out at 13900 Horizon at Walmart parking lot reference keys and child locked inside vehicle. Officers arrived to unlock vehicle, Horizon Fire and Life Ambulance evaluated the child who checked okay.

Officers conducted a routine traffic stop in the area of 14300 Horizon. Upon investigation the driver was found to be wanted out of our agency. The subject was taken into custody and later booked.

While on patrol, officers encountered a suspicious vehicle on the corner of Rodman and Veny Webb. Upon making contact with driver officers determined everything checked okay and advised driver to leave the area.

September 8: Two Arrests

A 911 hang up was received in the neighborhood of Golf View and Alderwood Manor. Units made contact with reporting party and after gathering information officers determined call was reference to a domestic verbal. Both parties were advised and separated.

Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle that was parked for a long period of time in the area of Paseo Del Este and Desert Silver. Units arrived on scene and attempted to locate the vehicle. The vehicle was gone upon units arrival.

Officers conducted a routine vehicle check in the neighborhood of Desert Wind and Desert Mist. After checking on subject that was in the vehicle units were notified that the subject was wanted out of our agency. Officer later booked the subject to the County Annex.

A moto vehicle accident was reported in the area of kenazo and Cactus View. Officers arrived on scene and gathered all necessary information and a report was generated.

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance call in the Walmart parking lot. Officers were able to make contact with the subject who was arrested for assault. Subject was later booked to the downtown county jail.

A subject disturbance call was reported in the neighborhood of Catham and Loana. Officers arrived on scene and attempted to locate the subject. Units were unable to locate the subject.

A motor vehicle accident was reported in the area of Horizon and Rodman. Units arrived on scene and gather all information needed to generated a report.

An alarm call was reported in the 100 block of Crocker. Officers arrived on scene after checking the perimeter it was determined that the call was reference to a false alarm.

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle disturbance in the area of Horizon and Ashford. Officers arrived on scene and the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

September 7: Two Arrests

A domestic issue was reported in the area of 600 Desierto Bonito. Officers met with all parties involved and advised them accordingly. Shortly after clearing, officers were dispatched back out to the same location in reference to a 911 hang-up. One subject was arrested for public intoxication and booked into the jail annex.

Units were dispatched to an aggressive K9 in the 14000 block of Desert Sage. Officers were able to contain the K9 and met with the animal’s owner. Citations were issued and a report was generated.

A motor vehicle accident occurred near 14000 Desert Fire. No injuries were reported and officers determined only minor damage had occurred. All parties were advised and blue forms were issued.

Officers were dispatched to 13900 Horizon at the Walmart store in reference to a shoplifter. Units made contact with security and arrested one subject. The subject was processed at the station and later booked into the downtown jail.

September 6: No Arrests

A vehicle disturbance call was made in the 14000 block of Venecia. The reporting party advised of a vehicle parked in the middle of the street of Venecia. The officers responded to the call and check the area for the vehicle. The area checked to be okay and no disturbance was shown at the time.

A commercial burglary alarm call was received at the Panda Express. Our officers were dispatched out to the area and check the building. The officers secured the area and the building checked okay. The call was reference a false alarm.

A concern caller advised that there was a suspicious vehicle parked in the 14000 block of Bryce. The officers attended to the call and checked the area. The officers notice a vehicle leaving the area and turning into the block of Golden Eagle. The officers stopped the vehicle and escorted a juvenile to their residence and was released to their responsible party.

A loose K9 was reported in the area of Desierto Bonito and Antwerp. Our officers were able to contain the K9 and know were the K9 resides. The owners were cited for being uncooperative and advise animal control to conduct a follow up.

A child custody call was made in the 1400 block of Horizon. The officers responded to the call and were able to make contact with both parties. Both parties were advised properly.

A motor vehicle accident was reported in the area of Horizon and North Kenazo. The officers responded to the call and were able to meet with only one party, the other vehicle fled the scene. Our officers were able to assist and advise the party on the scene.

In the area of Horizon and Duanesburg our officers assisted a civilian by removing their vehicle in the middle of the road way .

A domestic call was made in the 1400 block of Encantado. The reporting party advise that they had just been assaulted. Our officers responded to the call and were able to make contact with all parties involved. Our officers separated all parties and a report will be generated.
Our officers were dispatched out to the block of Desert Song in reference to a residential alarm. Upon arrival, officers checked the area and residence. The area and residence checked to be okay and was secured. The call was reference to a false alarm.

September 5: Two Arrests

Two loose K9’s were reported in the area of 300 Jim Knowles. 
Officers were able to contain one of the K9’s and the call was referred to Animal Services.

One subject posted bail for warrants with our agency following a traffic stop in the area of 14000 Escalera. Officers escorted the subject to the station and processed and released them after posting.

Units responded to a three-vehicle accident near the intersection of Horizon and Darrington. Upon arrival, officers and first responders checked for injuries and gathered information. No injuries were reported and a report was generated.

Officers were dispatched to a domestic issue in the 14000 block of Puentecillas. Units met with all parties involved and determined the issue was verbal only. All parties were separated and advised accordingly.

Officers made contact with a subject wanted by our agency during a traffic stop in the area of 13000 Horizon. The subject was escorted to the station where they posted bond and were released.

September 4: No Arrests

A traffic stop was conducted at the corner of Corby and Darrington. Upon investigation, a vehicle search was initiated, and narcotics were found. Evidence was contained and the subjects were cited and released.

A traffic stop was conducted at the corner of Cora Rucker and Nazareno. It was confirmed the driver had Horizon City Municipal Court warrants. The driver was advised on warrants and curfew and was released to a responsible party.

Officers’ responded to a vehicle lockout at the 100 block of N Kenazo. They were able to unlock the vehicle for the reporting party.

Officers’ responded to an open door in the area of Villa Seca. The residence was cleared and checked okay.

A commercial burglary alarm call was received at the 13000 block of Hollywood. Upon arrival, officers’ checked the area and residence. Officers’ advised the call was is reference to a false alarm.

Officers’ responded to a burglary of habitation at the 14000 block of Ghost Flower. Upon the officers’ investigation, it was found no items were missing. No report was generated.

Officers’ responded to the 200 block of Desert Breeze in reference to a domestic verbal call. The parties involved were separated and advised accordingly.

A subject disturbance was reported at the 14000 block of Desierto Lindo. Officers’ arrived on scene and made contact with the involved parties. Officers’ determined that the call was in reference to minor consumption. Juveniles were cited and released to responsible parties.

An officer conducted a vehicle check at the 14000 block of Horizon. The driver was advised to leave the area.
