0902 14400th block of McMahon, Officers responded to a complaint of a stolen vehicle. Officers opened an investigation and generated a police report.
0939 400th block of Barrel Cactus, Officers responded to a complaint of an aggressive loose dog. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the animal as described.
1047 Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the area of S. Darrington Rd. & N. Kenazo Ave.. Officers conducted investigation and determined the extent of the altercation to be verbal in nature. Officers asked parties involved to go their separate ways in order to cool down.
1101 14500th block of Calla Lily, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the area of S. Darrington Rd. & N. Kenazo Ave.. Officers conducted investigation and determined the extent of the altercation to be verbal in nature. Officers asked the couple to separate for the remainder or the day.
1152 14000th block of Cow Tongue, Officers responded to a complaint of fraud. Officers generated a police report.
1417 200th block of Lago Maggiore, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the residence and determined a false alarm. Officers issued a notice.
1425 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers responded to a complaint of a male soliciting work in the area of Hartsdale & Nunda.
1715 14300th block of Desert Sage, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the residence and determined a false alarm. Officers issued a notice.
1748 1430th block of Bryce, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Officers determined the extent of the altercation to be verbal in nature. Officers asked the couple to separate for the remainder or the day.
2051 400th block of Hollywood, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance possibly involving an assault. Officers determined that no physical altercation took place and asked the couple to separate for the day in order to cool down.
2220 14500th block of Puerto Del Carmen, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate a person as described.

0702 Officers responded to a hit and run motor vehicle crash in the area of N. Kenazo Ave. & Horizon Blvd. Officers investigated the collision and generated a CR-3 crash report.
0738 Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of Darrington & Horizon Blvd. Officers investigated the collision and issued a CR-3 crash report.
0946 600th block of Danube, Officers responded to a complaint of a person causing a disturbance. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate a person as described.
1108 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers responded to a complaint of a civil contention between two people.
1115 600th block of Danube, Officers responded to a request for a wellness & safety check. Officers met with the person in question and determined no need for emergency intervention.
1310 14300th block of Desert Point, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the home and determined a false alarm.
1400 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received additional information pertaining to one of the collisions from earlier on.
1605 13600th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers assisted hospital staff in signing in a person undergoing a mental/ emotional health crisis for emergency detention.
1705 Officers responded to a complaint of a street fight in the area of Desert Stone & Desert Silver. Officers located two juveniles involved in the scuffle and released them to parents.
1725 14100th block of DeStefano, Officers responded to a complaint of an aggressive person causing a disturbance. Officers conducted an emergency detention for mental/ emotional health observation.
1854 Officers responded to a minor motor vehicle crash in the area of Golden Eagle & Darrington Rd. Officers met with both drivers who agreed to handle restitution between themselves.
2038 800th block of Nazareno, Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle disturbance. Officers checked the area.
2052 15000th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to an Aggravated Robbery incident. Officers initiated investigation and generated a police report.
2200 Officers checked the 14700th block of Calhoun for a stolen vehicle. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate a vehicle as described.
2256 14300th block of Rudi Kuefner, Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle and determined no illegal activity.
2324 Officers checked a vehicle in the area of Rodman & Venny Webb. Officers located a juvenile and released her to parents with a curfew warning.
0012 Officers checked a vehicle in the area of Anderpont & Horizon Blvd. and determined no illegal activity.

January 11th: One Arrest

0723 Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of Darrington & Pawling. While responding, Officers were cancelled by one of the drivers, Officers attempted to meet with those possibly involved in the collision but no vehicles were present upon their arrival.
0747 300th block of Jim Knowles, Officers assisted ambulance and fire crews with a medical emergency.
0924 500th block of Dayna, Officers responded to a request for a safety/ wellness check. Officers met with the person in question and determined no need for emergency intervention.
0949 400th block of Amalia, Officers responded to a complaint of fraud. Officers provided information.
1001 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers were flagged down. Officers assisted the stranded motorist.
1008 14700th block of Cactus View, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the residence and determined a false alarm.
1037 500th block of Katherine, Officers responded to a complaint of burglary of habitation. Officers investigated and determined the incident to have consisted of a civil contention involving a former occupant of the home.
1052 200th block of Rodman, Offices responded to additional information on an ongoing burglary investigation.
1306 13800th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash. Officers issued Blue Forms.
1408 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received additional information on an ongoing investigation.
1507 100th block of Lago Seco, Officers assisted ambulance and fire crews with a medical emergency.
1634 Officers responded to a minor vehicle collision in the area of Darrington Rd. & Valentin St.
1702 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers responded to information regarding a motor vehicle crash.
1722 14100th block of DeStefano, Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call. Officers assisted an individual undergoing a mental/ emotional health crisis. Officers conducted an emergency detention for mental/ emotional health observation and evaluation.
1754 200th block of Crocker, Officers assisted ambulance and fire crews with a medical emergency.
1845 Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person in the area of Horizon Blvd. & Breaux. Offices checked the person and determined no illegal activity.
1915 Officers responded to a complaint of possible narcotics use at the 700th block of Villa Seca. Officers checked the area and checked a group of subjects as described by the complainant and determined no illegal activity.
2004 13600th block of Eastlake, Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle disturbing. Officers intercepted a vehicle driving as described. During investigation, Officers determined the driver was wanted by Horizon City Municipal Court. The driver was placed under arrest and booked into El Paso County Detention Facility.
2219 14200th block of Bryce, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious item. Officers located the item and the owner as described and determined no hazardous material and no illegal activity.
2323 14800th block of Kingston, Officers responded to a residential panic alarm. Officers checked on the occupants of the residence and determined a false alarm.
2348 13700th block of Eastlake, Officers responded to a commercial alarm. Officers checked the establishment and determined a false alarm.
0103 13700th block of Eastlake, Offices responded to a commercial alarm. Officers noted a possible issue with the alarm system and issued a notice.

January 10th: One Arrest

0859 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers met with a person wishing to turn themselves in for Horizon City Municipal Court warrants. Officers booked the person into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
1019 14700th block of Desert Bush, Officers responded to a city ordinance complaint. Officers issued a warning to the homeowner.
1115 200th block of Lago Grande, Offices responded to a complaint of an illegally parked vehicle. Officers red tagged the vehicle.
1307 Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle causing a disturbance in the area of Ashford St. & Horizon Blvd. Officers checked the area but determined the vehicle had already left.
1718 600th block of Danube, Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call. Officers responded to a complaint of indecent exposure. Officers conducted investigation and determined no indecent exposure had occurred. Officers provided the complainant with information.
1716 Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog in the area of Horizon Blvd. & Thea Smith. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the animal as described.
1745 Officers responded to a two vehicle crash in the area of Rudi Kuefner & Darrington Rd. Officers investigated the collision and generated a CR-3 crash report.
2033 14400th block of Daffodil, Officers responded to a structure fire. Officers assisted the HCFD in removing traffic and spectators from the vicinity of the residential fire. There were no reported injuries.
2040 14500th block of Las Aguilas, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Officers conducted investigation and determined the extent of the altercation was verbal in nature. Officers asked people involved to separate for the day.
2237 Officers responded to a complaint of a traffic caused by a downed road construction sign. Officers removed the sign from the roadway.
2258 14600th block of Alcon. Officers responded to a complaint of burglary of vehicle. An unknown person seemingly attempted to open a vehicle’s door. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any person(s) as described. No damage or loss of property occurred to the vehicle.
2312 13700th block of Eastlake. Officers responded to a report of a single vehicle crash. Officers checked the area but the vehicle was already gone. Officers were able to observe that there appeared to be no damage to nearby landscaping or structures. Officers determined that a driver may have lost control of a vehicle and come to a stop without actually causing a collision.
0101 700th block of Villa Romero, while conducting patrol, Officers observed a vacant home with an open door. Officers checked the residence and found no signs of forced entry or vandalism inside. Officers were able to secure the doors and windows.

January 9th: No Arrests

0848 Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious subject in the area of Ashford & Alderwood Manor. Officers checked the person and determined they were a landscape contractor.
0902 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of fraud at a local shopping establishment. Officers received information and determined no fraud had been committed.
1046 Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle parked in violation of city ordinance. Officers located the commercial vehicle and red tagged it.
1314 14400th block of Freesia, Officers responded to a complaint of a small child locked inside a vehicle. Officers conducted a vehicle emergency lock out.
1430 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers responded to a civil contention. Officers provided information.
1516 15300th block of S. Kenazo Ave., Offices responded to a residential alarm. Officers found the home secured. False alarm.
1642 18000th block of Carson, Officers responded to a residential medical alarm. Officers determined false alarm.
1727 13600th block of Horizon Blvd. Officers assisted ambulance and fire crews with a medical emergency.
1759 Officers responded to a 2 vehicle crash in the area of Darrington Rd. & Horizon Blvd. Officers investigated the investigation and generated CR-3 crash report.
1835 Officers responded to a second 2 vehicle crash in the area of Darrington Rd. & Horizon Blvd. Officers investigated the investigation and generated CR-3 crash report.
1933 100th block of Barrel Cactus, Officers assisted ambulance and fire crews with a medical emergency.
1949 Officers removed a dead dog from the roadway at the area of Darrington Rd. & Corby St.
2036 14100th block of DeStefano, Officers responded to a request for a safety and wellness check. Officers met with the person in question and determined no injury or illness.
2206 400th block of Melcole, Officers responded to a complaint of a missing juvenile. Officer’s investigation determined that the missing person was an adult and all signs seemed to point to a voluntary absence from home.

January 8th: One Arrest

0805 13900th block of Horizon Blvd. Officers responded to a two vehicle car crash. Officers investigated the collision and generated a CR-3 crash report.
0412 900th block of Maravillas, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the home and found the home secured. False alarm.
1247 14600th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a 911 hangup call at Horizon High School. Officers met with school staff and confirmed no emergency.
1430 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers provided information regarding laws on firearms.
1833 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a commercial silent alarm. Officers checked the restaurant and determined an employee had accidentally pressed the button during training.
1913 Officers assisted a motorist with a stalled vehicle in the area of Thayer Pease & Darrington Rd.
1920 Officers responded to a two vehicle car crash in the area of Crocker & Horizon Blvd. Officers investigated the collision and generated a CR-3 crash report.
2252 Officers discovered drug paraphernalia in possession of the driver during a traffic stop in the area of Antwerp & Nazareno. Officers issued Class C citations respectively.
2355 Officers located a person wanted by the Horizon City Municipal Court during a traffic stop in the area of Darrington Rd. & Roslyn. After the driver was unable to post bond locally, the driver was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.

January 7th: No Arrests

0730 400th block of Hollywood, Officers assisted ambulance and fire crews with a medical emergency.
1052 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers Officers responded to a complaint of child custody and a request of a civil escort.
1316 600th block of Desierto Bonito, Officers responded to a complaint of a domestic disturbance. Officers investigated and determined a minor physical altercation had taken place and neither party desired prosecution.
1341 18900th block of Armington, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers checked the home and determined a false alarm.
1546 13000th block of Eastlake, Officers responded to a request for emergency vehicle lock out services.
1620 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers responded to a complaint of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. (Stolen Car) Officers generated a report and opened an investigation.
1625 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers informed a person with a protective order that they could not be near their previous residence until the civil order expired. Further investigation of this person revealed they had a warrant for harassment. The person was arrested and booked into El Paso County Detention Facility.
1852 14300th block of Desierto Bueno, Officers responded to a complaint of a brush fire. Officers arrived and found the home owner had already extinguished the fire.
1924 14700th block of Calhoun, Officers responded to a complaint of child custody. Officers mediated the dispute between the parents.
2214 13900th block of Pete La Rue, Officers responded to a complaint of criminal mischief. Officers generated a police report.
2301 14400th block of Las Aguilas, Officers responded to a complaint of a person causing a disturbance. Officers met with a male subject and issued a criminal trespass warning.
0440 Officers responded to the downtown international port of entry in regards to the vehicle which had been reported stolen earlier in the day. Officers obtained additional information for the investigation. (Stolen vehicles will be returned to owner or insurance respectively).
