November 11: No Arrests

0850 14000th block of Flowering Cactus, Officers responded to a report of a suspicious item. Officers determined that the item was not hazardous.

0918 Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Ryderwood & Horizon Heights. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

1121 13800th block of Hollywood Cr., Officers conducted a civil escort.

1144 14200th block of Desert Fire, Officers responded to a complaint of illegal dumping. Officers made contact with the property owners.

1226 14400th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of persons causing a disturbance. Officers located the persons involved and asked them to leave the area.

1259 14700th block Summit Breeze, Officers responded to a complaint of assault, Officers initiated investigation.

1420 Officers responded to a residential alarm at the 14400th block of Desert Sage, Officers found the home secured. False alarm. Officers issued a citation for expired alarm permit.

1508 Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of the 13900th block of Horizon Blvd. Officers issued Blue Forms (CR-2 forms)

1543 Officers responded to a hit and run crash in the area of Darrington Rd. & Roslyn Ln. Officers investigated and generated a police report.

1633 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a domestic dispute.

1805 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers met with a person with additional information on an ongoing case.

1844 100th block of Sahuaro, Officers responded to a loud music complaint, Officers checked the area but there was no excessively loud music.

1911 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a missing person, Officers conducted investigation and generated a police report.

2105 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash. Officers determined the collision was minor in nature and issued blue forms. (CR-2 Crash Report)

2215 14300th Desierto Bueno, Officers responded to a noise complaint, Officers met with the homeowner and asked to turn the music down.

2229 14000th block of Cow Tongue, Officers responded to a complaint of a person knocking on windows, Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the person.

2255 12500th block of Weaver, Officers responded to a commercial alarm. Officers checked the premises and found the establishment secured. False alarm.

2318 14300th block of Desierto Bueno, Officers responded to a noise complaint, Officers met with the homeowner and asked to turn the music down.

0042 14500th block of Puerto Del Carmen, Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle causing a disturbance. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

0329 400th block of Mystic Desert, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers found the home secured. False alarm.

0330 13600th block of Horizon Blvd. Officers responded to information on narcotics use. This call was referred to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office as the activity was taking place outside our city limits.

0350 Officers responded to a complaint of noise disturbance in the area of Desert Mist & Desert Fire, Officers met with the complainant and determined the noise was not excessive.

November 10: No Arrests

(Friday 6am – Saturday 5:59am)
**We report our activity in blocks of three shifts. Morning, Afternoon, and Overnight. The incidents listed here took place between yesterday 06:00 am and continues until 05:59 am today**

0619 700th block of Teichelckamp, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers found the home secured, false alarm.

0740 600th block of Cactus Creek, Officers responded to a residential fire alarm, Officers and HCFD found the residence without need for fire suppression. False alarm.

0809 14300th block of Desierto Lindo, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog, Officers were unable to locate the animal.

0817 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received general inquiries about Horizon City and provided information.

1009 500th block of Cactus Crossing, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog. Officers were able to contain the animal which was held at HCPD kennel awaiting pickup by county animal control services.

1113 14500th block of Escalera, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog. Officers were able to contain the animal and located the owner who was issued a citation.

1131 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on an allegation of theft.

1137 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers conducted fingerprinting for personal identification purposes by a person in need of such services.

1208 Officers assisted first responders with a medical emergency in the area of S. Kenazo Ave. & Darrington Rd.

1400 In the area of Thayer Pease/ Lauren, Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically in the area.

1232 14300th block of Desert Wind, Officers responded to a report of possible animal cruelty. Upon closer inspection, Officers determined that the animal in question appeared to be in good conditions.

1251 1400th block of Cow Tongue, Officers received a request for a civil escort.

1500 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a motor vehicle collision occurred some time earlier.

1557 500th block Brahm, Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically.

1656 14200th block of Desert Cloud, Officers responded to a request for a personal safety/ wellness check. Officers did not find anyone at home.

1740 13900th block of Horizon Blvd. Officers received information on a suspicious package. Officers were unable to locate any item as described by the caller.

1915 In the area of Desierto Lindo & Villa Seca, Officers responded to shots fired in the desert. Officers found the shooting to be happening away from the residential area.

2129 14400th block of Desierto Bello, Officers responded to a complaint of criminal mischief. Officers initiated investigation and generated a police report.

0052 At the Horizon City PD, a person requested to speak with an officer but left before the officer could arrive from the field.

0101 300th block of Duanesburg, Officers responded to a complaint of narcotics use in progress. Officers arrived and checked the area and determined that the subjects had already left, however, Officers did locate a useable amount of narcotics which was confiscated and turned to the evidence/ property manager for destruction.

0136 14300th block of Desert Shadow, Officers assisted first responders with a medical emergency.

0358 600th block of Las Palomas, Officers responded to a report of a missing person. Through investigation determined that incident revolved around a domestic dispute and that the person was not missing, Officers recommended the parties involved remain separated through the night to allow time for them to cool off.

November 9: One Arrest

(Thursday 6am – Friday 5:59am)

0711 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a vehicle driving erratically in the area.

0730 500th block of Thayer Pease, Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash. Officers investigated the collision and generated a report.

0805 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers conducted a civil escort for child custody transfer in the 200th block of Crocker.

0854 In the area of Desert Wind/ Desert Mist, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog. Officers were unable to locate the animal.

0953 14400th block of Golden Eagle Dr., Officers responded to a minor motor vehicle accident, Officers issued blue forms. (CR-2 Crash Report)

1220 Officers assisted first responders with an injury emergency in the area of 14400th Golden Eagle.

1457 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of theft. Officers investigated and generated a police report.

1510 15300th block of Marburn, Officers assisted first responders with a medical emergency.

1720 Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in a shopping center in the area of 400th block of N. Kenazo Ave. Officers checked the vehicle and occupant and determined no laws were being broken.

1740 600th block of Danube, Officers attempted to locate a person wanted by HCPD for a criminal warrant.

1804 13800th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a Child Custody dispute. Officers provided information.

1850 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information regarding an ongoing investigation with Family Protective Services in the area of 14700th Desert Breeze. Upon further investigation, Officers determined probable cause to effect an arrest for Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The person was booked into El Paso County Detention Facility.

2250 1300th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers assisted a TX DPS trooper with a domestic dispute.

2324 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a domestic dispute.

2349 14400th block of Sabio, Officers responded to a noise complaint, Officers were unable to locate the source of the noise.

0300 In the area of Eastlake & Penroy, Officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

November 8: No Arrests

0715 Officers responded to a single vehicle collision involving one of our police cars. The investigation of the collision was referred to TX Department of Public Safety. No injuries were reported.

0832 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person. Officers checked on the person and determined they were not in violation of any laws.

0848 3600th block of Buxton, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and checked on the driver. No violations of laws were observed by officers.

0905 400th block of N. Kenazo, Officers responded to a hit and run motor vehicle crash. Officers attempted to, but were unable to locate the fleeing vehicle, Officers generated an hit and run crash report.

1057 1500th block of S. Kenazo, Officers responded to a civil contention between a worker and a homeowner. Officers provided information.

1120 14200th block of Desierto Bonito, Officers responded to a request of a wellness/ safety check of a person. Officers checked on the person and determined no need for emergency intervention.

1234 In the area of Darrington & Horizon Blvd., Officers received a tip on a person possibly wanted by HCPD, Officers checked the person and determined they did not have a wanted status.

1409 16000th block of Homestead, Officers responded to an allegation of cruelty to an animal. Officers took a closer look and observed that the animal had been left with adequate food, water, and shelter.

1441 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on lost property and generated a report.

1645 14200th block of Desert Orchid, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Officers determined the extent of the disturbance was verbal in nature.

1736 14700th block of Mountain Breeze, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the person.

1753 400th block of Las Palomas, Officers responded to a child custody dispute. Officers provided information.

1800 13600th block of Eastlake Blvd., Officers responded to a request for a civil escort to the area of 18300th Colville.

1916 100th Block of Desert Mesa, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person. Officers learned that the person was last seen in the area three nights ago.

1930 600th block of Orchid, Officers assisted first responders with a medical emergency.

1940 14400th block of Antwerp, Officers responded to a complaint of shots fired in the area. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any shooters in the vicinity.

2012 300th block of Schoelkofp, Officers responded to a complaint of criminal mischief. Officers generated a police report.

2031 14600th block of Escalera, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person.

2300 1500th block of Hartsdale, Officers responded to a report of an unsecured door. Officers found no signs of ransacking, the residence was secured, and a notice was left for the homeowner.

0335 14300th block of Desert Cactus, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Officers conducted investigation and determined probable cause to investigate allegations of an assault. Officers generated a report, investigation continues.

November 7: No Arrests

(Tuesday 6am – Wednesday 5:59am)

0700 14000th block of Veny Webb, Officers responded to a aggravated assault allegation. Officers determined no assault took place, two parties were involved in a minor altercation. Neither wished to prosecute, they were asked to go their separate ways.

0807 14700th block of Cactus View, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and checked on the occupants. No illegal activity was observed.

0831 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received a request for a civil escort. Officers maintained the peace between both parties involved.

1007 14300th block of Desert Point, Officers responded to a residential alarm. Officers found the home secured, False alarm.

1059 14700th block of Calhoun, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog. Officers contained the animal and held it at HCPD kennel awaiting pickup by County Animal Control Services.

1126 14300th block of Lago Diseo, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose dog. Officers attempted to, but were unable to contain the animal.

1411 14200th block of Desert Sunset, Officers received a complaint on a vehicle which had apparently been abandoned on the road. Officers marked the vehicle for removal by wrecker service.

1246 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers met with a person involved in a collision to issue a traffic violation citation.

1254 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on an allegation of harassment.

1321 Officers responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle accident in the area of Isola & Alderwood Manor.

1443 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of theft. Officers found that the commercial establishment had made restitution arrangements with the accused.

1506 14200th block of Desert Cloud, Officers responded to a request for a personal safety/ wellness check. Officers were unable to make contact with anyone at the residence.

1521 14400th block of Desert Sage, Officers responded to a complaint of a loose animal. Officers attempted but were unable to contain the animal.

1637 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a motor vehicle collision.

1726 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received a request for a civil escort.

1822 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers assisted a stranded motorist.

1909 14300th block of Lago Di Como, Officers responded to a noise complaint, officers determined the noise was a result of a loose dog in the area, Officers attempted to, but were unable to contain the animal.

2220 700th block of Weirman, Officers assisted first responders with a medical emergency.

0145 14200th block of Desert Mesquite, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person. Officers were unable to locate the person.

November 6: One Arrest

(Monday 6:00am – 5:59 am Today)

0836 14500th block of Horizon Blvd. Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash. Officers investigated the collision and the drivers agreed to settle the matter between themselves. No report.

0900 Horizon City PD Officers assisted in providing a traffic safety escort to the multiple buses and vehicles carrying Horizon High School students and supplies as they made their way to a state competition in San Antonio, TX. Go Scorpions!

1015 14600th block of Horizon Blvd. Officers responded to information on the return of a missing juvenile.

1106 14000th block of Veny Webb, Officers responded to a complaint of a lose dog. Officers were able to locate the owner and issued a warning.

1152 14300th block of Sabio, Officers responded to a complaint of burglary of vehicle. Officers conducted investigation and generated a police report.

1232 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers responded to a complaint of child endangerment. Someone had spotted a vehicle with a child passenger who was not in a car seat. Officers checked the area but the vehicle was already gone upon their arrival.

1617 14300th block of Desierto Bonito, Officers responded to a request to assist an El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputy.

1646 Officers responded to the area of Horizon & Darrington Rd. to a complaint of a person causing a disturbance. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the person.

1659 600th block of Orchid Dr., Officers received information on the return of a missing juvenile.

1702 At the Horizon City PD headquarters, Officers received information on a theft occurred earlier.

2006 13900th block of Horizon Blvd., Officers received information on a person causing a disturbance.

2022 Darley & Alderwood Manor, Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle. Officers checked on the vehicle and the occupant and determined probable cause to charge the driver with Possession of Marijuana. The driver was arrested and was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.

2214 14400th block of Antwerp, Officers responded to a noise complaint. Officers located the homeowner and issued a warning.

0319 14300th block of Desert Cactus, Officers responded to a complaint of a person going through a emotional crisis. Officers conducted investigation and determined the person was not present and was outside of Horizon City. Officers contacted the respective law enforcement agency.
