CAPTURED: Sex Offender Who Left Facility Arrested in Fort Worth Monday

UPDATE: El Paso County Sheriff’s Office officials say that Lazaro Morales was captured in Ft. Worth on March 26.

“As of March 26, 2018, Morales was taken into custody by the Ft. Worth Police Department and booked into to Tarrant County Jail. He was booked for Parole Violation with no bond and Sex Offenders Duty to Register with a $40,000 bond.”

New Year, Same Story: Sex Offender Fails To Return to Facility

After a year that saw 16 sex offenders leave the facility just south of Horizon, El Paso County Sheriff’s Officials announced late Monday that another resident failed to return.

According to EPCSO officials on Sunday, February 11th, Lazaro Morales left the El Paso Multi-Use Facility, located at 1700 Horizon Boulevard, just about two miles south of Horizon City limits, and just across from the Sparks neighborhood.

Morales is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming. His sex offense is for Aggravated Sexual Assault, the victim being a 13-year-old female and is on parole for said offense.

No other information is available at this time.  This is the first sex offender to leave the facility this year and not return.
