Sheriff’s Office Arrests Three for Deadly Shooting in November

El Paso County Sheriff’s Office officials announced on Wednesday the arrest of three suspects in the shooting death of 22-year-old Erik Aragon.

EPCSO Officials say, on November 4, 2017, at approximately 11:06 p.m., the Horizon City Police Department was dispatched to the McDonald`s parking lot at 13990 Horizon Boulevard, in reference to an unconscious male.

Upon arrival, Horizon City Police officers found Aragon, who later died of his injuries.

On November 6, 2017, the El Paso County Sheriff`s Office Major Crimes Unit adopted the case from the Horizon City Police Department and through the course of the investigation, three suspects were identified.

On December 12, 2017, a coordinated effort between the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, Criminal Investigation Section, Warrants Section and the U.S. Marshalls Office and Homeland Security, resulted in the arrests of all three suspects.

All were charged with Capital Murder.

21-year-old Shawn Ezal Ramirez and 22-year-old Miguel Angel Ontiveros were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with No Bond.

23-year-old Marcos Damian Porras age 23 was booked into the Doña Ana Detention Facility with No Bond and pending extradition to Texas.

  2. Should not have been there to begin with all are wrong this life style will do this to you selling drugs taking drugs wrong crowds you name it. All you can do is feel sorry for all these men all including the one who passed . It’s a very SAD situation for all families affected .
