Parents in both the Socorro and Clint Independent School Districts can now access their child’s State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) report card, formally known as the confidential student report (CSR), via the online Texas Assessment Data Portal.
The Texas Assessment Data Portal can be found at www.texasassessment.com
To access the STAAR report card, parents will need their child’s date of birth; PEIMS number, which is in most cases the social security number; and an access code which can be found on the Texas Assessment website. To look up the access code, users can select the option “look up access code”, insert the child’s first name, birth date and select the option “Go”.
Once parents have been granted an access code they can log in to view their child’s STAAR report card. Reports can be viewed by clicking on the testing subject or selecting the option “download PDF report” at the top right-hand corner.
The interactive website will allow parents to view their child’s STAAR assessment performance, student progress, the level of reading and the new STAAR performance labels.
Other resources include tools to support a child’s ability to read and write, as well as tips and questions to help prepare for parent-teacher conferences in the new school year.
Schools will issue STAAR report cards at the beginning the 2017-2018 school year. STAAR report cards also can be picked up at the campus during office hours, school registration times and/or open houses.
For more information, please contact your child’s campus.
