Two Teens Arrested for Breaking into Horizon-Area Cars

Last week, El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two teens for burglarizing several vehicles in the Horizon City area.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the neighborhoods of Lake West Point and Lake Granada, in the Lakeway Neighborhood just north of Horizon, in reference to several vehicles being burglarized.

Deputies conducted an investigation which led them to a residence on the 16000 block of La Vina.

Deputies executed a search warrant for the residence, and recovered of all the stolen items reported by the victims.  A total of six vehicles where burglarized, items recovered included tools, stereo equipment, a cellphone, sunglasses, bank cards, and various types of identification cards.

17-year-olds Tristian Burrola  and Jacob Ordonez were arrested and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on six counts of Burglary of Vehicle.
