The annual Horizon City Christmas Holiday Parade will be virtual this year due to public health concerns related to the current pandemic.
The Centennial Lions will once again be partnering with HorizonCity.com, who will help put together the virtual Holiday Event and stream it on December 5th at 10 a.m.
“The parade may look a bit different but we hope that it is an opportunity for our local businesses and organizations to be able to showcase themselves in a way that they would not be able to do in a traditional parade,” Judy Verslype of the Centennial Lions Club shared.
“We encourage everyone to not only participate but to share it with family and friends who are outside the immediate areas…so be on the lookout for this Christmas EXTRAVAGANZA!”
Christmas in Horizon City will come to life, via the parade’s theme: “LOOKING FORWARD TO 2021.” Santa himself along with Mrs. Claus will be present to spread the Holiday Cheer and Spirit
Instead of a line-up along Ashford Street, the 2020 Christmas/Holiday Parade “line-up” will be virtual and viewable at HorizonCity.com
