The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced late Thursday that yet another sex offender has walked away from the facilities just south of Horizon City limits, and across from the Sparks neighborhood.
According to EPCSO officials, on August 8, 2018, Robert Barrientez left the El Paso Transitional Living Center located at 1650 Horizon Boulevard.
Barrientez walked out of the facility and his whereabouts are unknown; EPCSO officials add that Barrientez may possibly be driving a 2001 Silver/Grey Toyota Camry bearing Texas plates.
Barrientez is wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming. His sex offense is for Sexual Assault, the victim being a 14year-old female and is on parole for Sex Offenders Duty to Register.
If anyone has any information on the location of Robert Barrientez, they are asked to call the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 915-538-2008. No other information is available at this time.
This is the second sex offender to walk away in just the last two weeks.
In late July, Alejandro Sanchez surrendered himself to deputies and has been booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility, after leaving the same facility.
