Eastlake High School’s Mariachi Falco Celebrates Mother’s Day with Concert

The Mariachi Falco Mother’s Day concert will be at 6:30 p.m. May 10 at the Eastlake High School auditorium.

“I’m incredibly proud of all 3 groups. It’s an honor to showcase the talent SISD has from current students to past students. I am even more impressed by our esteemed faculty members who have come out to learn a new trait. Although some are learning new instruments; and some have not played in 20 years, the faculty mariachi is having fun and can’t wait to share the stage with the students,” said Albert Martinez, director of bands and mariachi at Eastlake High School.

The free concert will feature Mariachi Falco, the alumni mariachi group and the first-ever faculty mariachi group at Eastlake High School. The alumni group is eagerly preparing music to give back to the community, and play alongside the faculty mariachi group.

The groups have been established by band director Albert Martinez to showcase outstanding student musicians and teachers in SISD.
