El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, District Attorney launch ‘Operation Safe Streets’

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with the District Attorney’s Office and County Court Administration, are working to reduce the number of outstanding misdemeanor criminal warrants.

Operation Safe Streets is giving people the opportunity to clear their outstanding misdemeanor warrants through Satellite Booking without being booked into jail and in as little as 30 minutes. Clear up your outstanding misdemeanor warrants to avoid their name appearing on an upcoming criminal warrants list and being arrested at home or work.

The list will be published in the Sunday, July 23, 2017, El Paso Times, and Diario de El Paso.  Shortly after the list is published, a Warrant Roundup will be conducted by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and various other local law enforcement agencies.

EPCSO Officials say, “If your name appears on this list and you wish to clear up your warrant contact the Satellite Booking office for more information.”

“If you have any other warrants including Tickets, Out of County Warrants, Parole Violations, Wanted Person or Pink Warrants, you will need to surrender at the El Paso County Jail,” officials added.

Satellite Booking Office: El Paso County Courthouse, 500 E. San Antonio LL-110, Mon. – Fri. 8:00am to 4:30pm. For more information, residents can call 915-546-2121, or visit epcounty.com and click on Operation Safe Streets.
