UPDATE: EPPD captures sex offender who walked away in April

UPDATE 5/6 – On May 05, 2020, Steven Wayne England Jr. was taken into custody on the 6100 block of N. Mesa by the El Paso Police Department and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with an additional charge of Failure to Identify.

On Wednesday night, officials with El Paso County Sheriff’s Office issued a news release, requesting assistance from the community in locating Steven Wayne England Jr.

According to EPCSO officials, on April 28, 2020, Steven Wayne England Jr left the El Paso Transitional Living Center located at 1650 Horizon Boulevard, south of Horizon City, and across from the Sparks Neighborhood.

England, Jr.  is wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming. His last known location after walking out of the facility was 1301 Horizon Boulevard.

His sex offense is for Indecency with a Child/Contact, the victim being a 14-year-old female, and is currently on parole for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Requirements.
