According to El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, as of May 9, 2019, Roberto Luna was taken into custody by the Cameron County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Cameron County Jail.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is once again requesting assistance from the community in locating Roberto Luna, a sex offender who left the facility located south of Horizon City, just across the street from the Sparks neighborhood.
According to EPCSO officials, on Tuesday, March 19, Luna left the El Paso Multi-Use Facility located at 1700 Horizon Boulevard, and his whereabouts are unknown.
Luna is wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is now forthcoming. His sex offense is for Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault, the victim being a 12-year-old female and is currently on parole for Burglary of Habitation.
