In just under a month, a third sex offender has left the living facilities located south of Horizon City and just across from Sparks, and not returned.
Via a news release Friday evening, officials with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office are requesting assistance from the community in locating Carlos Espinoza.
On Wednesday, August 8, Carlos Espinoza absconded from the El Paso Transitional Living Center located at 1650 Horizon Boulevard,
Espinoza was transported to the Horizon Providence Hospital located at 13600 Horizon Boulevard, but never returned to the facility and his whereabouts are now unknown. He is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming.
Espinoza’s sex offense is for Attempted Sexual Assault, the victim being a 30 year-old female and is on parole for said offense and Kidnapping.

This is the second sex offender to leave the facility this week, the third in just under a month.
