A robbery call last week leads to the arrest of three suspects. According to El Paso County Sheriff’s Office officials, their deputies responded to the 12000 block of Eastlake in reference to a robbery.
Upon arrival, deputies were told that the four suspects had fled the scene in a Lincoln passenger. Deputies found the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Rojas Drive and Eastlake.
Deputies discovered during the traffic stop that the vehicle was only occupied with two of the four suspects, 24-year-old Jose Alberto Orozco and 17-year-old Julian Rizo Campa. Through the course of the investigation, deputies discovered the other two individuals had been dropped off at a residence after the robbery had occurred.
As a result of the traffic stop, Orozco was booked for Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz, Possession of Control Substances PG2<1Gram and Unlawful Carry of Firearm.
Campa was booked for Possession of Control Substances PG2<1gram.
According to EPCSO officials, a follow-up investigation was conducted and detectives identified 17-year-old Alejandro Galindo, as the individual responsible for the robbery.
On Monday, June 3, 2019, Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Galindo for Theft of Property, greater than $100, but less than $750 and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
All three were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility; no other information is available at this time.
