El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday night the capture of sex offender Lawrence Thomas Daughtrey who left the facility just south of Horizon on Friday.
Daughtrey was arrested on August 12, 2017, on the 4800 block of East Paisano, near Jefferson High School and the El Paso Children’s Hospital.
EPCSO Officials say Daughtrey booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility by the El Paso Police Department.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced early Saturday that Lawrence Thomas Daughtrey is the 13th sex offender of 2017 to leave the facility and not return.
On Friday, August 11, 2017, Daughtrey left the El Paso Multi Use Facility located at 1700 Horizon Boulevard, just across from the Sparks neighborhood, south of Horizon City.
Officials say Daughtrey was transported to the Extended Observation Unit but never returned to the facility and his whereabouts are now unknown. His last location was the intersection of Montana and Magnolia. He is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming.
Daughtrey’s sex offense is for Burglary of Habitation Intend Sexual Offense out of Victoria County the victim being a 23-yearold female and is currently on parole for said offense and for Aggravated Assault.
